Pakistani nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan has passed away, a look at his life

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s renowned nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has pass away 85, whose funeral prayers will be offered at Faisal masjid in Islamabad today, said that Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan was suffering from lung disease. He was rushed to KRL Hospital at around 6 am today where doctors tried their best to save the nuclear scientist but he could not recover and died at 7:04 am today.

A look at the life of Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan

Dr. Abdul Qadir was born in Bhopal, India in 1936. After the establishment of Pakistan, dr abdul qadeer moved to Karachi in 1952. In 1960, dr abdull qadeer graduated from Karachi University with a degree in Metallurgy. dr abdull qadeer got master’s degree from Belgium in 1972 and returned to Pakistan in 1976.

Dr. Abdul Qadir participated in the Pakistani nuclear program of ‘Engineering Research Laboratories’ at the invitation of former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan surprised the world renowned Nobel Prize winning scientists by installing a nuclear plant in a very short span of 8 years with untiring work and dedication. Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan founded a seminary called Kixit in November 2000 Pakistan was also addressed while dr abdull qadeer was also awarded 3 Presidential Awards besides he was also awarded Nishan Imtiaz and Hilal Imtiaz twice.
