Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has resigned.

QUETTA: According to details, Jam Kamal has resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Balochistan, which was also confirmed by Provincial Sports Minister Khaliq Hazara. The Governor of Balochistan has also accepted the resignation of Jam Kamal. A no-confidence motion was tabled in the Balochistan Assembly session on Thursday. 33 members of the 65-member Balochistan Assembly supported the motion.

Voting on the no-confidence motion was scheduled for 11 a.m. tomorrow, October 25

Jam Kamal was the 16th Chief Minister of Balochistan. He was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Balochistan on August 19, 2018 and resigned from the post on October 24, 2021 after a no-confidence motion was filed. The resignation was also accepted by the Governor of Balochistan.
